Emily Benedit, Urbanista Tampa’s Executive Vice President, is the principal figure in the day-to-day operations, strategic planning and overall vision for Urbanista Tampa. Benedit shapes the Urbanista’s brand through her hands-on involvement with marketing and public relations initiatives. In all of these functions, Benedit ‘s primary objective is to ensure that Urbanista remains as it has throughout its existence as an industry leader in forward-thinking Urban Lifestyle Real Estate.

Benedit’s principal focus for Urbanista in 2014 is to become a strategic partner with the City of Tampa’s Urban Planning towards Downtown’s growth and its preservation of the rich, diverse residential neighborhoods. We want to create and support better Walkability and Sustainability in Downtown, Channelside, Harbour Island and Ybor.
Benedit also created Urbanista Tampa’s Landlord Services Division, which provides landlords the benefit of working with a staff of highly skilled professionals to ensure that their real estate investments are operating at the lowest possible vacancy rate while yielding the highest returns.
Originally from Atlanta, GA. Benedit earned her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in Downtown Atlanta. Over the next several years, she worked for a multifamily developer, specializing in downtown, urban residential highrise developments. Benedit created Urbanista Tampa in 2014.
Emily personally enjoys outdoor activities such fishing and boating, running alongside Bayshore, reading a book on the beach. She likes attending local festivals, food truck rally’s and brunch on a waterfront patio.
